Scaffold Labourer

Ingleford Scaffolding has an exciting opportunity to join our growing business as a labourer.

Location: Washington, Tyne and Wear

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in a construction role
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn and take direction from supervisors
- Basic knowledge of scaffolding systems and construction tools in advantageous
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
- Commitment to safety and adherence to safety regulations
- Valid drivers license and reliable transportation to job sites
- Flexibility to work overtime and weekends as needed

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist with the loading and unloading of scaffolding materials and equipment
- Help set up scaffolding structures according to safety regulations and company standards
- Support scaffolders and other team members in the assembly and dismantling of scaffolding systems
- Ensure that scaffolding and components are properly secured and stabilized
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including the storage and inventory of materials
- Follow safety procedures to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to coordinate tasks and meet project deadlines
- Perform basic maintenance and repairs on scaffolding equipment as needed.
- Adhere to company policies and guidelines at all times.
