Veneerer

We are looking for an experienced veneerer to join our friendly and expanding team in Fakenham Norfolk, catering for the High End Private Residential and Super Yacht markets.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in furniture both fitted and free-standing.
- Minimum of 3 years’ cabinet making experience.
- Minimum of 3 years’ veneering experience.
- Ability to manage and prioritise workload with assistance from workshop foreman.
- Proven ability to carry out a job from start to finish.
- Ability to read and work from technical drawings.
- Proven ability to safely operate guillotine, stitcher, and platen press.
- Proven ability in selection of veneers species, book matching, slip matching and quartering.
- Proven skills working with a variety of bonding methods
- Proven skills in the use of woodworking hand tools.
- Proven ability to keep a clean and organized work area.
- Proven knowledge of health and safety procedures.
- Excellent communication and professionalism both within the team and with clients.
- Enthusiastic, committed, and able to respond positively to changing demands.
- Have a keen eye for detail and high standards of workmanship.
- Be able to work under their own initiative as well as part of a team.

The position is full-time (40-hour week), working on a 4-day shift pattern Monday to Thursday 07:00-17:30 based in our Fakenham workshop.
