The **Spa Café Server** is responsible for opening and closing of the shift, cash handling, order taking, serving and preparation of drinks/coffees and food items and to keep to Café neat and tidy at all times.

The Spa Café is open 7 days a week. Casual Cafe Server will be required to work approximately 2 days a week.

**08.30 to 16:30**

**We also expect you to**:

- Provide excellent guest service by discovering all of our guests needs and acting on these needs promptly, effectively and with confidence.
- Ensure that guest expectations are exceeded and standards are consistently maintained.
- Liaise and communicate effectively with all departments to ensure seamless transfer of information takes place.
- To be fully conversant with all restaurant/hotels policies and procedures.
- When fully competent, to take ownership of the Spa Café and work with the Manager to make improvements.

We are looking for a confident individual who is capable to work on their own initiative as well as part of a team and has a strong desire to improve on their skills and knowledge as well as:
**Requirements**:

- Food & Beverage Service Experience required (Café/Barista experienced preferred)
- Previous experience in a client facing role within a luxury five star environment a distinct advantage
- Excellent written and spoken English
- Flexible and adaptable approach to working hours
- Impeccable personal presentation
- Ability to handle stress and cope with the pressures of the job as and when they occur
- Ability to deal with and adapt to unexpected situations: complaints, change
- Ability to motivate yourself at quieter times
