Due to Forum’s continued growth we are recruiting for a time served flexographic printers to join our busy print department as soon as possible. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced printer to work with a progressive printing company on one of our 8 colour flexographic printer.
**About Us**
Forum Packaging Ltd has been manufacturing paper products for more than 50 years and is one of the leading packaging companies in the UK supplying all types of paper sacks and preprinted material to a wide variety of market sectors.
**The Role**
As a qualified printer, you will be expected to:
- Work flexibly across the department
- Set up and run an 8 colour flexographic press
- Monitor and control print quality, ensuring standards are met
- Optimise print speeds
- Efficiently deal with print faults
- Highlight print issues to the print manager
- Manage ink levels
- Accurately capture data
- Comply with good housekeeping, hygiene, health, safety and environmental standards
- Train and develop others in the department
The hours of work are; a three shift rotating system - Monday to Friday: 6-2, 2-10, 10-6 (37.5 hrs per week).

- Able to follow instructions and complete within given timescales
**Experience and Qualifications**:
- Minimum of three years’ flexographic printing at operator level in a manufacturing environment
- Working with computer systems and computer literate
- Experience of working on a three shift system, morning, afternoons and nights
- Have a good understanding of health, safety, quality, hygiene and environmental procedures
- Ideally you will have a minimum of three GCSEs (or equivalent)
