We are currently seeking a Head of Premier and Wealth Distribution. The role requires a good degree of independence and initiative and the role holder will be expected to work with mínimal guidance and be able to manage senior relationships. The role requires a high degree of autonomy, technical knowledge and experience necessary to manage relationships within the wider parts of HSBC Group.

In this role you will:

- Be responsible for leading, coaching, motivating and developing, within a highly regulated and complex environment, the Premier and Wealth distribution teams to provide for the needs of our customers relating to their banking, investment and financial planning needs.
- Lead and oversee a large field based team which will include both Regulated Wealth Advisers providing holistic financial advice as well as Non-Regulated Relationship Managers who manage portfolios of customers with a Premier banking relationship.
- Provide customer-focused inspirational leadership across the business at all times to ensure the highest level of customer service is achieved. This leadership role is crucial in supporting both tactical and strategic change across the national business.
- Deliver upon quantitative and qualitative key performance indicators, in line with the WPB Premier and Wealth strategies and regulatory requirements, whilst ensuring the HSBC Values and Behaviours expectations provide the foundation on which they are achieved.
- Demonstrate the ability to be agile in your and your teams approach to our customers and ensure we provide a service that meets their changing needs within their channel of choice.
- Act as a key contact point to engage with colleagues outside of your immediate business area to ensure proactive collaboration across the customer continuum and brands within HSBC UK and as such will demonstrate strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Deliver the wider business objectives, whilst maintaining the levels of operational integrity required by HSBC Group, closely managing individual and the collective performance of the wider team.
- Support the implementation of the Target Operating Model for Premier by implementing the Group standards in customer contact strategy and delivering those standards in accordance with any country specific requirements (based upon a good understanding of the personal customers, the potential customer base, local market conditions and competitor activity).
- Ensure delivery of the business objectives whilst maintaining the levels of operational integrity required by HSBC Group, closely managing your personal and the collective performance of your wider team.
- Create and maintain an environment and relationships where you and the wider team maximise performance in achieving the WPB business objectives.
Requirements

To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:

- Detailed scale financial services distribution leadership and/or Investment/Wealth business and product knowledge
- Strong financial, risk and regulatory experience within UK regulatory environment for Financial Planning
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and experience with interpreting and implementing new regulatory requirements.
- Strong technical skills with the ability to break down complex situations, spotting trends, inconsistencies, and causal relationships and the ability to communicate these to non-technical specialists
- Demonstrable experience of leading, managing and coaching a team of business partners in a changing commercial environment
- Excellent interpersonal skills demonstrating the ability to influence as well as developing strong and productive relationships with key senior management and colleagues in a complex matrix environment
- Ability to influence and drive prioritisation decisions.
- Has worked in an agile environment.
