**PURPOSE OF THE JOB**

The post-holder will provide high quality technical support and administrative services to the Resident Safety team.

The role will be responsible for providing a range of technical, project and administrative support to Resident Safety, including updating databases and other information in an accurate and timely manner, and maintaining project files of key documents.

Depending on team location, the post-holder will also be responsible for coordinating Fire risk assessor and Health and safety advisers’ appointments, ensuring resources are deployed effectively, or they will be responsible for raising works orders via the relevant software or procedures. They will also be responsible for updating and maintaining the Shine or SAFe databases.

**Key Accountabilities**:
1. To develop and maintain high quality administrative and management information systems to support the work of the team, and ensure that all key project documentation is filed in accordance with council procedures.

2. To work in conjunction with relevant senior officers to ensure that administrative and project support is provided to cover the requirements of different work streams within the team.

3. Depending on the team location, to be responsible for coordinating Fire risk assessor or Health and Safety Advisers appointments, making the most effective use of resources, and notifying all relevant parties dealing with any appointment changes.

4. Depending on the team location, to be responsible for raising orders for fire safety works or asbestos works and producing reports as required.

5. To support the Resident Safety team in developing ongoing improvements to digital record keeping, migrating key documents to new systems as required, and contributing to the development of new procedures.
