We are currently seeking a dedicated and meticulous Cleaner to join our team. Your main responsibility will be to carry out cleaning and housekeeping tasks to maintain high standards of cleanliness. Reporting to the Housekeeping Supervisor and/or Area Manager, you will follow task allocations and adhere to agreed standards.

Key duties include performing general housekeeping and cleaning tasks as specified. You must meet set guidelines to ensure a hygienic environment. Additionally, you will complete assigned Planned Preventative Maintenance tasks within deadlines, striving for excellence. It is important to use the agreed ISS IT processes for task closure.

Previous cleaning or housekeeping experience is preferred but not essential. Attention to detail, ability to follow instructions accurately, and effective independent and team work are crucial. Maintaining high cleanliness standards and displaying a proactive attitude are key qualities.

**The Role**
- To carry out general housekeeping / cleaning tasks as detailed on the task allocations, to agreed standard, as directed by the Housekeeping Supervisor and/or Area Manager
- To ensure all Planned Preventative Maintenance tasks assigned are completed within the required deadlines and to a high standard where reasonably possible. Ensure correct closure of task using agreed ISS IT processes
- To ensure all Reactive tasks as assigned are completed within the required time scales and to a high standard where reasonably possible. Ensure correct closure of task using agreed ISS IT processes
- To carry out all tasks with due regard to the contract specification and all legislation including Health and Safety, and Personal Hygiene.
- To ensure correct materials, equipment and methods are used at all times and equipment is kept clean and in good working order. Follow Cleaning Excellence guidelines at all times
- Reporting faulty machinery / equipment immediately.
- Reporting of building faults via BTFS helpdesk

- Ability to read English at a basic level, and a good level of spoken English for communication purposes
- Ability to work as part of a team as well as own initiative
- Ability to communicate and work effectively with customers, employees and teams at all levels
- Courteous and professional at all times
