This role will place you at the heart of our customer journey and you will be the first point of contact in moments that matter to our clients.

**What your day will look like**
- Liaising with customers, insurers, suppliers, and colleagues across the country
- Reviewing policies to correctly determine if a claim is covered and how to progress insurance claims
- Ensuring the policyholder is kept informed on progress of their claim by composing informative letters and other written correspondence
- Reviewing data to set up new claims, appointing contractors and updating claims on internal systems
- Issuing payments to policyholders as well as arranging settlements and invoice payments where necessary
- Ensuring claims are updated with any changes on the internal system
- Ensuring compliance with our contractual and regulatory requirements
- Contributing to team, division and wider business growth and development

**Abilities and Knowledge**
- Great communicator, dedicated to providing a professional and empathetic service to our customers
- Ability to deliver outcomes in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent organisational skills
- A proactive and enthusiastic attitude, with great attention to detail
- Efficient administrative skills with the ability to use Microsoft Office with ease
- Strong numeracy, literacy, and IT skills
- Proven experience dealing with challenging conversations, while maintaining a professional and adaptable communication style
