Senior Accounts Administrator

This is a hybrid role, working 2-3days from home, with the remaining days in the office in Leeds city centre.**

**Role Summary**:
Working within a busy team, you will cover all areas of Accounts within the business, including all ledger work, bank reconciliation, calculating commission payments and other similar duties working via Xero software. There will be an effective handoverperiod with the current person in post, so experience of Xero is not essential but would be an advantage. We are looking for someone with a good general overview of Accounts or Book Keeping with 2-3 years' experience gained in a similar role. This may be withinyour own business or working within a Company in a similar role. Training will be given to offer continued support. As this role provides a wide range of day-to-day tasks, there is real opportunity to develop your professional skills and gain some great industryexperience too.

**Daily Duties**:

- Involved with Sales & Purchase ledger, processing payments for suppliers
- Credit control - ensuring all invoices sent are up to date and chasing for payment where needed, communicating in any areas of discrepancy
- Working via Excel, to calculate additional Commission payments and keeping a track of these
- Bank reconciliation
- Supporting a busy team with a multitude of operational tasks including producing and formatting documents, managing suppliers and supporting the Operations Manager with day to day running of the office
- Liaising with contractors to ensure queries are answered and necessary data/documentation is up to date and detailed

To be considered for this Senior Accounts role it is essential that you have some experience within a similar Accounts or Bookkeeping role - ideally 2 years plus with experience working with Accounts led software in addition to having strong Excel skills.

**We are looking for**:

- At least 2 years' experience in a bookkeeping or similar Accounts role
- Proven ability to manage time and multi-task
- You will enjoy a fun, supportive and focused team culture
- Able to work with and offer varied support within the team
- An agile and adaptable attitude
- An eye for detail holding your work to a high standard of accuracy
- IT skills, in particular experience of using Microsoft Office and any Xero knowledge would be ideal
