Sanctuary Personnel is currently looking for an experienced Band 6 Community Psychiatric Nurse (CPN) to take on a new ongoing contract role in the Adults Community Mental Health Team in Easington.
**Location**:Consett.
**Pay Rate**:£26 per hour (assignment rate).
**Contract Type**:Locum, 6-months ongoing.
**Working Hours**:
- Potential for 1-2 days per week working from home.
- Although traditionally a 9am - 5pm role, there is the opportunity for flexible working days and hours (9am - 7pm, 3/4 days per week will be considered, for example).
**Main Duties**:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' mental health needs, including risk assessments.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patients' needs and goals.
- Provide evidence-based interventions and treatments to patients with a range of mental health conditions.
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure coordinated and holistic care.
- Deliver health promotion and education to patients, families, and carers.
- Monitor and evaluate patients' progress, adjusting care plans as necessary.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical documentation.
- Carry a caseload.
**Requirements of the Community Psychiatric Nurse**:
- Degree or equivalent in Mental Health Nursing.
- Experience working as a Mental Health Nurse.
- NMC Registration.
- Strong assessment and care planning skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of relevant legislation and policies related to mental health care.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage competing priorities.
