As our Deputy Facilities Manager, you will support in leading a small team to ensure safe working practices in line with relevant legislation and best practice, reducing risk across the organisation putting in place excellent Health and safety measures;including prevention, training, implementation of legislation, good practice guidelines and key reporting management, including to HSE and RIDDOR as required.
You will be instrumental in working with the Property and Protection Manager ensuring maintenance takes place for all properties and equipment, both planned (ideal) and time sensitive if it becomes faulty, creating safe working environments for all.
You will also work with external contractors to ensure all properties remain secure and key services are provided.
**Deputy Facilities Manager Requirements**:

- We are looking for an experienced Deputy Manager or Team Leader in Property Management / Facilities or Maintenance, motivated by results and having the drive for continuous improvement whilst delivering a safe, efficient and customer focused service.
- With strong communication skills and a positive attitude, you will be a skilled people manager, used to managing small teams, who likes to be operational and is happy to get involved.
- You will need a high level of IT literacy, including a good working knowledge of Microsoft Access, Excel and Outlook Attention to detail.
- You must be a self-starter, capable of working in a fast-paced environment being both flexible and mobile (full driving license required).

**Location**: Cannock, Staffordshire with a need to travel to our other UK sites as and when required.
**Contract Type**: Permanent
**Hours**: Full Time, 37.5 per week
**Salary**: Circa £30,000 per annum
