**Position: Restaurant Supervisor**

**Department: Catering & Hospitality Department**

**Report to: Hospitality Operations Manager**

**Salary: Competitive salary depending on experience plus attractive staff benefits.**

**Locations: Skyline Restaurant, Tynecastle Park Stadium (Edinburgh, EH11 2NL)**

**Closing Date: 2nd March 2023**

Heart of Midlothian is a Scottish Premiership Football Club and an Edinburgh institution with a proud heritage dating back to 1874. The Club has undergone a remarkable transformation over the years which included the addition of our Skyline Restaurant. The restaurant holds a promising rating on Trip Advisor for Edinburgh and boasts excellent views for our guests to enjoy from the outdoor balcony. Currently open Thursday to Sunday for lunch and dinner, the Skyline is a unique dining space for guests in Edinburgh.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Responsible for the delivery of a high level of food and beverage service.
- Responsible for handling restaurant bookings, including incoming calls and enquiries.
- Responsible for the co-ordination of staff for the restaurant.
- Responsible for delivering and ensuring upkeep of a high standard of staff training in line with food, beverage, and customer service requirements.
- Personal Licence holderresponsibilities under the Licensing (Scotland) Act 2005.
- Responsible for opening and securing the restaurant.
- Have a passion for food and beverages, with a drive to deliver above and beyond customer expectations.
- Have a passion for delivering excellent service and customer care.
- Must be flexible with weekly working patterns.
- Have excellent planning and organisational skills.
- Be able to demonstrate the ability to work under pressure.
- Must have effective people management skills and the ability to maintain good working relationships.
- Must be able to demonstrate a strong team work ethic with a can-do attitude, proven professionalism, and excellent leadership qualities.
- Possess the relevant Personal Licence or be willing to undertake the training and qualification.
- Must be able to evidence Legal Right to Work in the UK.
