**Job Description**:
A Care Assistant with Home Instead has a kind and compassionate heart, and is someone who wants to truly make a difference to the quality of life of seniors. Our Care Assistants provide support that is completely personalised to the individual based on a close bond being formed through shared experiences and interests. Your passion for supporting others and your pride to deliver outstanding service will come from your reliability and trustworthiness. You will enjoy building professional and respectful relationships and be comfortable spending time in the company of others with the ability to be flexible to meet client’s needs.

As a member of the Evening Care Assistant team you will be out in the community, providing care to clients in their own homes between the hours of 17:00-23:00. Your days of work will be based around your availability.

Rates of pay for this role are £11.75 on weekdays, and £13.00 on weekends.

Bank holidays are paid at double the standard rate

As an evening Care Assistant your responsibilities can include but are not limited to:

- Tea-time visits, preparing dinner for clients
- 'Tuck-in' visits to support clients with their evening routine
- Providing personal care in a respectful and caring manner
- Home-help
- Companionship
- Prompting medication administration

**Qualifications**:
You do not need any experience or particular qualifications to become a Care Assistant, just a passion for making a difference to the lives of others. Although,, it would be a bonus to have some experience interacting with older people.

A driving license and access to your own vehicle is required for this role as you will be based within the community.

As a Care Assistant, you will receive industry leading training, great rates of pay and excellent support.
