PTP Training is an award-winning Private Training Provider, which is part of the BCTG Group, currently employing over 100 staff with a mixture of home workers and office based staff.

We currently have an excellent opportunity for a Finance Assistant to join our team based at our Walsall Office.

**Key responsibilities are**:

- To assist the Finance Manager to effectively manage finances and cash flow on behalf of the business.
- Prepare accurate financial information for the Directors and Senior Leadership Team.
- To provide effective cover in the absence of the Finance Manager.
- To meet targets and timescales for financial administrative functions.
- To work with partners and colleagues to meet objectives.
- Assist with the management of the Sales, Purchase and Nominal Ledgers to provide accurate month end figures for Profit & Loss.
- Managing the banking/cash processes and producing bank reconciliations.
- Maintaining the fixed asset register, taking responsibility for periodic verification.
- Maintain good relationships with our partners/suppliers providing a professional service.

**Essential Role Requirements**:

- GCSE A-C Maths & English
- Extensive accounting experience
- Accountancy Qualification (desirable)
- Good IT Skills
- Have the right to live and work in the UK indefinitely and without any restriction.
