**An exciting opportunity has arisen for a hardworking and motivated individual to join our Stroke Unit (R2) and the Lewin Rehabilitation Unit as a Nutritional Assistant. As a Nutritional Assistant, you will contribute to the assessment and care of patients undergoing Inpatient treatment ensuring nutritional needs are met. You will work closely with the Nursing Team, Speech and Language Therapy Team and the Ward Dietitian.**

**You will demonstrate a commitment to team work and show an interest in nutritional assessment, with an understanding of the importance of good nutrition and patient recovery. You must possess excellent communication skills and an ability to work flexibly and independently. The role requires you to support patients with eating and drinking, utilising the recommendations from the Speech Therapists.**

**Previous healthcare experience is not necessary as training will be provided.**

**To ensure that patients receive adequate and appropriate nutrition in line with Trust corporate standards.**
