Motorcycle Mechanic - Level 3 Motorcycle Technician

(willing to consider an apprentice with Level 2 Motorcycle Technician)

**Job Type**

Full Time - 35 hours per week working 5 days from 7

**Salary**

£12.61 - £14.35 per hour plus generous staff discount

**Responsible to**

Trago2Wheels Division Manager

**Role Summary**
- To work flexibly, to ensure the maintenance of the site and its property, undertaking such other activities to maximise sales, business efficiency and customer satisfaction.

**Key Relationships**
- Trago2Wheels Division Manager and colleagues

**Key Responsibilities, Tasks and Activities**
- Maintain the cleanliness and upkeep of the workshop and its property
- Ability to diagnose mechanical and electrical failures efficiently, repairing to MOT standard
- Applies initiative to problem solving in relation to motorcycle repairs
- Taking instruction from management in relation to priority of repairs and improvements
- Dealing with any maintenance related paperwork and record keeping
- Ensuring all work is completed effectively and in a timely manner
- Assisting the company and colleagues by carrying out such duties away from usual areas of work as may reasonably be required

**PERSON SPECIFICATION**

**Experience**
- Previous mechanic experience required including a basic understanding of all motorcycles

**Skills & Qualifications**
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent tradesman and problem solving skills
- Familiarity with and competence in relation to common tools and equipment
