Glazier

Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Glazier to join our team. As a Glazier, you will be responsible for installing glass in windows, doors, shop fronts, skylights, display cases, and more.

**Responsibilities**:

- Measure and cut glass to specified dimensions
- Install glass into frames using putty, screws, or clips
- Repair or replace damaged glass
- Work with a variety of materials including aluminum, steel, and PVC
- Use hand tools such as glass cutters, pliers, and suction cups

IPAF/PASMA (not required but helpful)
Experience performing door and auto glass repairs (if applicable)
Strong customer service skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Experience with construction or building maintenance
Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment and glass.
Experience with measuring tools and techniques
DBS Checked / Full driving licence.
SSSTS experience if possible.

**Experience**:

- Previous experience as a Glazier or in a related field

Company Description
BFM Glazing LTD is a regional commercial glazing company based in Manchester. With 30 years of experience across all sectors, we specialize in repairing or replacing any glazing issues in the North West. We offer a 4-hour response time and our work is of the highest standard. We primarily work for FM companies to replace or repair glass work.

Role Description
This is a full-time on-site Glazier role located in Manchester but will be travelling across the North West to complete works. Job comes with work van, phone and laser. Will be working as part of a team to complete complex glass installations along with individual measures. Mostly from 8-4 with some evening and weekend work paid at overtime.

Pay: £25,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
