An excellent opportunity has become available for an experienced Senior Town Planner to join an established environmental and planning consultancy as part of their Kendal based team. The team currently offer a wide variety of services, including town planning,EIA and landscape planning, to their clients predominantly in the renewables sector.

For this role it is anticipated that the successful Senior Planner will:

- Have a BSc / MSc (or equivalent) in an appropriate planning related discipline
- Be MRTPI qualified (or close to achieving this)
- Have demonstable planning experience, preferably in the private sector

**Duties**:

- Managing multidisciplinary teams working on planning / EIA projects
- Liaising with and building strong relationships with clients
- Assisting the Directors with the preparation of fee proposals
- Preparing reports and statements
- Mentoring junior members of the team
