Aviva are looking for Underwriters to join us to be aligned to a portfolio of brokers/customers to proactively develop and profitably grow their commercial book of business within Aviva

The successful applicants will partner with brokers and customers to truly understand their wants and needs, using data insight to ensure we provide whole customer solutions.

**Accountabilities**:

- Dealing end to end with brokers/customers
- Embrace and understand SME strategy
- To be an active mobile underwriter and work effectively and professionally wherever you are located
- To work towards underwriting licence levels as appropriate to your job grade, including the requirements of the Apprenticeship scheme where relevant
- Mentoring and developing others
- Take a role in supporting LUA's and LBR's
- Collaborating with the team and supporting both lead trading underwriter and underwriting leader in delivering financials

**Experience**:

- Excellent communication, listening, time management and negotiating skills
- Analysis of risks and ability to communicate and present effectively to brokers and/or customers
- Working collaboratively within a large complex organisation
- Good knowledge of the FCA and other relevant regulation and legislation
- Strong commercial business acumen to create and deliver business cases

**Qualifications**:
Strong education background, previous commercial underwriting experience an advantage.

ACII qualifications working to achieve DIP.
