**We are hiring a Laundry Assistant to join the team at Russell Court. We are a 40 bed Nursing Home in Longfield, Kent**

**We are looking for a reliable,trustworthy and enthusiastic candidiate for this role.**

**22.5 hours per week. 8am - 4pm**

**Shifts are on a rota basis will include some weekends.**

**SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES.**

1. To collect and sort the laundry.

2. To wash and dry the laundry.

3. To press laundry and residents’ clothing where necessary.

4. To distribute all clean laundry to all floor levels.

5. To clean floors and generally maintain the cleanliness and tidiness of the laundry area.

6. To attend mandatory training courses relevant to the position at the direction of the manager.

7. To undertake any other duties instructed by the manager.

8. To ensure that the laundry complies to current infection control guidelines.

9. To cover domestic duties if required.

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 22.5 per week

**Salary**: £10.48 per hour
