**Job Title: Caustic Operative**

**Location: Cheltenham**

**Pay Range/details: £11.88 per hour**

**Contract Type: Temporary ongoing**

**Key Responsibilities - Caustic Operative**
- Retrieving dies from both presses to caustic area
- Pressing out dies from die rings using hydraulic die press
- Operating aluminium recovery machine and Movex
- Operating stand on pallet truck (training provided)
- Monitoring caustic deliveries
- Responsible for caustic operation (fill, discharge, clean tanks, check burners, control panel operation)
- Safely dis-assembling dies
- Responsible for safe die splitting operation
- Operating sand blaster
- Retrieving and storing dies from locations in die racks (once order picker training completed)
- Using computer system to log movements/progress
- Various other duties as and when required

**Qualifications & Requirements - Caustic Operative**
- Good interpersonal skills
- Excellent level of written and spoken English
- Ability to prioritise workload
- Computer literate
- Experience within a manufacturing/production environment is advantageous but not essential

- Hours of work - 2 shift weekly rotation between AM (Mon-Fri, 7am-3pm) & PM (Mon-Fri, 3pm-11pm)
