We are currently supporting Academic Registry to recruit for 3 Registry Administrators to support the Faculty/Assistant Registrar and colleagues within the team in all aspects of administrative activity, working alongside members of the department who supportour students' academic journeys.
Registry staff may be allocated to a range of teams across the department, giving the opportunity to gain broad experience of HE administration and to engage in personal and professional career development.
When allocated to a central team, the focus of work is on centralised events - e.g., enrolment, or graduation - and on quality assurance, regulatory compliance, and the provision of expert support to operational teams, both within the university and to ourcollaborative partners.
Registry teams based in faculties also have quality and compliance responsibilities, along with a focus on managing our courses, supporting the students studying on them and the academic colleagues teaching them.

**Responsibilities**:
1. Deals accurately, efficiently, and positively with enquiries from staff, students, external organisations, and partners, and liaises regularly with teams across Coventry University Group and beyond.
2. Develops a comprehensive knowledge of specific university procedures and regulations, advising and briefing staff and students as required, and advising the Faculty/Assistant Registrar on compliance with university procedures and regulations.
3. Carries out accurate and secure maintenance of manual and computerised student records, in accordance with internal and external regulatory and legal requirements, observing the principles of good data governance at all times.
4. Engages with the development and adoption of new and improved processes and systems, contributing suggestions and operational knowledge.
5. Supports the team by collating information in preparation for operational, financial, quality and audit activities, and assists in maintaining current and accurate guidance to staff on students on the university's intranet portals.
6. Develops effective working relationships within and beyond the immediate team, both in Registry & Governance, in other departments across the university and with external partners, where required.
