Are you a Quantity Surveyor / Estimator with a small civils and groundworks background, looking for their next opportunity to join a fantastic local business? My client is offering the chance to work on a range of interesting projects whilst having excellentopportunities to grow your career with a company on a gradual, steady rise aiming to become a go-to contractor.
This well-established groundworks contractor work on a range of construction projects for a wide array of sectors including; private bespoke housing, car parks, small civils, schools and colleges. The company pride themselves on delivering a high quality serviceto all clients and have therefore developed long term business relationships. These relationships have continued to increase their workload and they are now looking to bring an ambitious, aspiring Quantity Surveyor to continue keeping good relationships withthe clients they already have, as well as help bring in more work. The appointment of the Quantity Surveyor will be done with the intention of providing further structure and progressive growth to the company.
The role will be predominately office based (Southwest Birmingham) with weekly checks on site being done. The Surveyor will be responsible for overseeing projects and completing pricing works including, tenders, subcontractor packages, submitting bids and budgeting,cost management of materials and ensuring projects run to specification and budget on behalf of the client.
The Role:

- Office-based role located in Southwest Birmingham: Commutable from Bromsgrove, Redditch, Kidderminster
- Quantity Surveyor / Estimator role at a small civils and groundworks firm
- £40,000 - £60,000 Per Annum + Benefits
- Immediate start available

The Person:

- An Quantity Surveyor / Estimator fully qualified to degree level
- Previous civils experience
- Looking to join a steadily growing civils and groundworks company where they can make an instant and substantial impact
