**JOB DESCRIPTION**:
**Location**:Working throughout the UK and at times offshore (Main office based in Derby, UK)

**Reporting to**: Lead Asbestos Surveyor & Line Manager

**Job Purpose with training where required**:

- Responsible for assisting the surveyors and carrying out supervised asbestos surveying. Working in accordance with current Health & Safety guidelines and adhering to company policies and procedures.
- Always ensuring quality and professionalism.
- Ensuring all work carried out complies with CAR 2012, HSG264 and all other regulatory asbestos Legislation.
- Gaining the British Occupational Hygiene Society (BOHS) P402 - Building surveys and Bulk Sampling for Asbestos qualification.

**Requirements for the Applicant**

**The role will require**:

- Literacy/Numeracy to Company standards
- Good computer and digital tablet skills working with such programs as Microsoft Word, Excel, and training will be given in using the Alpha Tracker Survey system.
- Hold a valid full UK driving licence and passport.
- Due to company insurance policies for driving of company vehicles the minimum age is 21 and have no less than 1 years driving experience. Have no more than 6 penalty points on the license. Have no driving bans within the last 5 years (from date of ban ending).
- Exceptions ‘may' be considered in the following circumstances:
