Handsworth St Mary’s Choir is a new and dynamic choral group. We provide up to 24 children from our wonderfully diverse inner-city community with cathedral standard chorister scholarships. Children sing for 8.5 hours per week, including for an hour every day in school (choristers finish school at 4:30pm) and have 1-1 and small group singing lessons during the school day from a professional singing teacher.

We are searching for two skilled vocal tutors, who have a passion for using music as a vehicle to transform the life chances of children in diverse inner-city communities, to train our choristers from 3:30pm - 4:30pm three days per week during term-time in Handsworth (2.5 miles from Birmingham City Centre).

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: £22.50 per hour

Expected hours: 3 per week
