**About the Role**:
In this temporary position with Spire Healthcare Ltd, you will be responsible for providing high-quality surgical assistance to our major orthopaedic cases. As a Major Orthopaedic Scrub Practitioner (ODP), you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient running of our operating theatres.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Prepare the operating theatre and ensure all surgical instruments and equipment are ready for use
- Assist the surgical team during major orthopaedic procedures including joint replacements and corrective surgeries
- Maintain a sterile and safe environment throughout the surgical procedure
- Handle and label tissue specimens accurately
- Monitor the patient's condition before, during, and after surgery
- Provide post-operative care and support to patients
- Ensure all documentation and paperwork is completed accurately and in a timely manner

**Qualifications and Experience**:

- Registered Operating Department Practitioner (ODP)
- Extensive experience in major orthopaedic procedures
- Knowledge of surgical instruments, equipment, and sterile techniques
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well within a team and under pressure

**Working Hours**:
This is a temporary position with a start date of 07/02/2024 and an end date of 07/02/2024. The shift will start at 07:30:00 and end at 18:00:00. You will be required to work full-time during this period.

**Payment Rate**:
You will be compensated at a rate of £374.85 per shift, providing you with a competitive salary for your expertise and dedication.
