**FIELD MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN (PENRITH / CARLISLE Area)**

I am looking for skilled electrically or mechanically competent individuals with good customer service skills to join my client’s field service team. The company looks after a range of drinks dispensing equipment in licenced premises throughout the UK andthe are looking for technically competent individuals to train as**field maintenance engineers**.

Your experience can come from **any sector of mechanical or electrical engineering** as long as you have a capacity for “hands on” work. The company will provide you with full training. The role is to provide service and maintenance visits forcustomers in your area, covering the hours of **0900 - 2100 Monday - Friday.** This will be on a **rotating shift (0900-1730/1130-2100)** with approx 1 in 5 weekend cover and includes bank holiday, so you need to be flexible with regards to working hours. Weekends come with rest days in the week and a 1 in 15 "rest week" (not part of yourholiday allowance)

The role can often mean working under pressure so you need to be **calm and professional in your manner** and be prepared to go the **“extra mile”** for your clients. Working from home you will need to be self-motivated, organised and keen to become an ambassador for the business. The company provides a superb bonus structure to encourage technicians to ensure they have anexcellent “first time fix” rate and to ensure revisits and remedial work is not required. Overall they are looking for goal orientated technicians who want to deliver good service.

- Professional experience in**any form** of mechanical / electrical engineering or possibly plumbing
- Excellent customer service skills
- Competent in using IT for reporting
- Full UK drivers’ licence with **no more than 3 penalty points**
