An established biotechnology company focusing on the development of vaccines against viral and bacterial infectious diseases, have a need for a **Lab Scientist** to join their team.

As part of a small research team, you will be responsible for in vitro testing of test vaccines on cell lines and primary cells.

You will:

- Undertake preparation, use and storage of PBMCs from fresh blood.
- Maintain and grow cell lines and help with running in vitro tissue culture experiments.
- Be involved in running of flow cytometry and, after training, mass cytometry.
- Maintain stocks of lab consumables, reagents, and the general smooth running of the labs.
- Ensure compliance with environmental, health and safety rules, signage and instructions at all times.
- Ensure databases are up-to-date and compliance with HTA regulations.

You will be highly motivated with good interpersonal and communication skills. Have thorough record keeping skills with ability to follow set procedures and excellent attention to detail.
