**The Role**: As a **Senior Buyer**, you'll be a crucial part of our Procurement Team, directly contributing to the strategic direction and operational success of Luxfer MEL Technologies. You will leverage your expertise to ensure we meet our company goals, driving procurement excellence across the board.

Key Responsibilities**:Senior Buyer**
- Forge strong relationships with stakeholders to fine-tune procurement activities.
- ** Strategically** manage significant spend categories to secure optimal pricing.
- ** Negotiate** contracts and push for the best terms, aiming for substantial cost savings.
- Ensure supply continuity by making strategic purchasing decisions.
- ** Analyze** market trends to keep us ahead, ensuring we mitigate risks and capitalize on opportunities.

**Who You Are**:

**Qualifications**: Holding a CIPS qualification or a relevant business/commercial degree. Experience in **Chemical Manufacturing** sector.

**Experience**: Proven track record of strategically purchasing **Raw Materials and Cost saving** achievements. Familiarity with global suppliers and the industrial manufacturing landscape is key.

**Skills**: Exceptional negotiation, communication, and analytical skills. Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel, and experience with SAP ERP system is desirable.

**Characteristics**: You're a team player with a keen eye for detail, excellent time management abilities, and a solid understanding of market dynamics.
