Applegreen is the majority shareholder of Welcome Break and therefore our UK teams often work closely on a number of projects.

We are working together to find a new IT Data Analyst for the Applegreen business. This is a group level role looking after our businesses both in the UK and Ireland.

The role is based in the UK from the Welcome Break head offices in Newport Pagnell.

Applegreen is in a rapid growth phase and is seeking to onboard an experience Oracle EPM Technical Specialist with the skills, experience and dynamism to help deliver projects in a fast-paced retail environment.

**What will your role look like as the Oracle EPM COE Technical Lead for Welcome Break/Applegreen?**

As Applegreen evolves, the responsibilities of this role will too. The core responsibilities will centre around creating and supporting an interface which will aid the Applegreen implementation of Oracle PBCS as well as ongoing support and enhancement ofEPM FCCS. This position requires an understanding of financial accounting and reporting principles.

Over and beyond the above, you will:

- Subject Matter Expert in all technical aspects of Oracle EPM FCCS including best practices for deployments and data integration techniques
- Be the driving force for the design, development, testing, quality and implementation of the Oracle solutions (FCCS, PBCS, etc).
- Provide technical expertise and direction to project teams in the areas of data integration, data modelling, and financial reporting
- Liaise with third party vendors to develop and implement interfaces for integration with Applegreen’s data structures.

**What we are looking for**

Ideally, someone who has;
- 7+ years’ experience of working as a COE Technical Lead or a similar position, ideally working with large and complex implementations of Oracle EPM/Oracle Finance Apps.
- Ideally would also have experience working with Oracle Essbase and Planning products (PBCS, EPBCS, Hyperion Planning).
- Strong understanding of financial accounting and reporting principles.
- Experience managing support requests and escalations with Oracle (internally and externally) and negotiate resolution in a timely manner.
- Experience in managing metadata/data processes in FCCS.
- Have an understanding and working experience of concepts such as Smartforms and/or VBA.
- Oracle EPM FCCS certification preferred.
- Experience of working with SAP S4/Hana would be advantageous.
