We are now recruiting for a Trainee HGV Commercial Trailer Technician to join our team at our Ipswich depot, no experience is required for this role but a keen interest in all things mechcanical and the commercial vehicle industry would be an advantage.

It is essential you hold a Full clean UK Driving licence. HGV license is an advantage but not essential, training available for the right person.

Full-time role, based out of our Ipswich depot.

Working 5 days a week Monday to Friday and every other Saturday.

**Daily tasks will include**:

- Assist in monitoring and managing the effective use of workshop resources for the Trailer Division
- Inspect and prepare trailers for MOT inspections ensuring trailers meet the requirements set out by VOSA & the DVSA
- Contribute to the maintenance of a safe and efficient workshop
- Work with service and parts staff in order to ensure each job you are assigned is repaired efficiently
- Interpret diagnostic information/readouts and use wiring diagrams effectively
- Use a range of diagnostic equipment. Report faults using company procedures and recommend suitable further actions
- Test the function of repaired and fitted components
- Adhere to business processes and complete documentation following workplace procedures
