We provide training and support when you need us. We ensure our carers are prepared and confident before they accept a shift. There are no compulsory shifts you will be expected to attend unless you have agreed to. We will accomodate you as much as possible and ensure you are given the hours that suit your schedule, whether thats working around university or family life.

Overview:
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Senior Caregivers to join our team. As a Senior Caregiver, you will provide essential assistance to individuals who require support with daily activities. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of others.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist clients with personal care tasks, such as bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Provide companionship and emotional support to residents
- Administer medications according to prescribed instructions
- Assist with mobility and transfers
- Monitor and report any changes in client's condition to the appropriate healthcare professionals
- Help with light housekeeping duties, including meal preparation and laundry
- Follow care plans and maintain accurate documentation of services provided
- Implement behavior management techniques when necessary
- Provide specialized care for clients with dementia or memory loss
- Collaborate with case managers and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience as a Senior Caregiver or similar role is preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology and basic understanding of healthcare procedures
- Familiarity with nursing home regulations and protocols
- First aid certification is required
- Ability to administer medication accurately and safely
- Physical stamina for heavy lifting and assisting clients with mobility needs
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Please note that this position may require working flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Level 3 Health and Safety required. Certificates should be presented upon request in order to support your interview (if invited)

**Job Type**: Zero hours contract

**Salary**: £11.18-£11.87 per hour

Expected hours: 1 - 36 per week

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Night shift
- Weekend availability
