Due to one of my clients Electrical Engineers leaving them shortly to relocate to Oxford they are looking for an Electrical Engineer to replace them. They will consider from Junior level to Senior level.

My client is an established, mid-size Building Services Consultancy based in the East Midlands, allowing them to serve the whole of the UK from a central location.

With experience of over 10 years, they have worked on several high-profile projects across a variety of sectors.

To ensure engineers are offered a varied project workload their typical project types include Education, Commercial, Retail, Residential, Leisure and Healthcare.

The company’s current need is for an Electrical Design Engineer (Junior-Senior) who has previously worked within a building services consultancy environment or a design environment within contractors, and who has a varied project portfolio experience.

Experience of calculation software such as Relux and/or Dialux and Amtech is essential.

They are looking for an engineer with the following skills sets:

- Minimum of 2 years’ experience (Junior) 6 years' experience (Senior) in Building Services Consultancy;
- Good experience of electrical detail design and D&B;
- Competent user of design software;
- Competent user of AutoCAD/Revit;

If you are of junior level you will need to be in the office and Nottingham based. However if you are senior level my client is happy for you to be working flexibly and at home as much as you need to. Therefore seniors don’t necessarily need to be Nottinghambased as long as they can travel to face to face meetings etc as needed.
