TEXO Port Services are recruiting for a full-time Technical Clerk to provide clerical support to the technical department. This is a temporary to permanent vacancy. You will proofread technical documents such as building blueprints and manufacturing manuals to verify the accuracy of information and use information technology systems to organize and file these documents. Salary is negotiable.

**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Log ordering and receiving and to retrieve and enter data in general.
- Perform a variety of clerical duties such as typing, copying & compiling data, maintaining & filing records and reports, and handling paperwork.
- Welcome clients and offer them refreshments.
- Transcribe, record, fax and file documents.
- Maintain filing, database systems, and inventories.
- Process technical documents through the company’s system.
- Liaise with management/supervisors, warehouse, and stores to allocate and locate kit/stock.

**Skills, Experience & Qualifications Required**
- Strong administrative experience or business support experience.
- A degree in business or accounting.
- Paying attention to accuracy and quality of work.
- Managing time, tasks, and resources efficiently.
- Communicating and interacting with customers in a professional and courteous manner.

**Job Type**: Temporary

**Salary**: From £24,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Blyth, Northumberland: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- Certificate of Higher Education (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Administrative: 2 years (preferred)
