**Your New Role**

Are you a planner who has experience working within a supply chain sector? We have an amazing opportunity for a Demand Planner, full time at our Grimsby site.

You will be part of our supply chain family which is dedicated to planning, directing and coordinating product and service storage, distribution and delivery operations to meet customer needs and drive business value.

Reporting into the Supply Chain Manager, you will be responsible for leading demand planning activities within the region, ensuring the sales and operational planning process is supported with a clear view of customer demand. You will forecast and provide demands and provide insights and recommendations to supply chain stakeholders to inform operational decisions.

**What You Can Expect from the Role**

**Key Responsibilities and accountabilities**:

- You will deliver effective demand planning for a significant region within Survitec in line with accepted modelling practices and tools
- Generate regular and timely trend analyses, insights and business recommendations, feeding these into the local sales and operational planning process to drive optimum availability
- Communicate demand information to a range of internal and external stakeholders, including internal and third part manufacturing partners
- Carry out regular and timely risk assessments for the demand and supply planning function
- Manage day to day delivery of relevant information into the S&OP process and to relevant suppliers (internal and third party)
- Deliver accurate and timely demand information into the regional sales and operational planning process, monitoring and revising demand plans reflect current customer demand
- Collect and analyse the key cost drivers, market dynamics and issues, areas of innovation and alternative suppliers for Survitec Supply Chain
- Review existing operations in own area of work and implements innovation processes to generate new ideas and ensure continuous improvements are delivered
- Resolve queries from internal or external customers or suppliers by providing information on complex processes and related policies, referring to others where necessary for interpretation of policy
- Contribute to stakeholder engagement through identifying stakeholders, finding out their needs, issues and concerns, and reacting to these by creating and conveying information to promote understanding and commitment

**Skills**

**Essential Criteria**
- 2+ yearsgeneral planning experience
- Educated to University Degree Level or vocational related equivalent qualification
- APICS qualified advantageous
