**Operative (Semi Skilled Electrical) - Environment**

**Plymouth**

**Role Overview**:
An opportunity has arisen for a Semi Skilled Electrical Operative to join the team at Galliford Try working in the Devon and Cornwall area. Reporting to the Site Supervisor/ Manager and coordinated by the Project Engineers, you will be responsible for assisting with on-site Electrical installations / Maintenance on Water Treatment, Wastewater Treatment, Pumping Stations and General industries such as Mines & Quarrying, Environmental Agency facilities and Local Authority infrastructure.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Responsible for the Health & Safety of themselves & others
- Assisting Electricians with regards to completing installations / maintenance to the required standard and within the required time frame
- Complete site documentation as required
- Innovate, providing suggestions and ideas to the Site Supervisor / Manager for improved delivery

To complete the responsibilities, Galliford Try will provide power tools, transport, career progression and opportunities for overtime.

**Experience and Qualifications**:

- Knowledge of Industrial Electrical Installation work
- Experience of working within the Water and/or Construction industries
- Experience on installation of SWA Cable, cable support systems such as cable tray and ladder rack
- CSCS, Confined Space Training, IPAF, PASMA, First Aid, EUSR (Clean Water Hygiene). Any training shortfalls will be provided
