We are working with a Specialist Claims Management supplier to recruit a Desktop Building Surveyor. On a daily basis you will be in charge of your own claims portfolio managing desktop investigations of Domestic Property claims upto £100,000 on a sign-and-release basis. Offering excellent customer service you will be responsible for mitigating against further loss, orchestrating reinstatement back to former state of repair and handle settlement on behalf of major insurers. **What you'll be doing?**
- Servicing Domestic Loss claims through desktop investigation.
- Review non-delegated surveyor reports to process claims after investigation.
- Negotiate Settlement of claims ensuring correct action is taken.
- Manage reinstatement projects utilising your knowledge of construction on behalf of the insured and insurer; minimising further loss.
- Oversee all claimants queries regarding building works/contractor engagement to ensure excellent customer service.
- As a brand ambassador and technical claims expert offer industry leading customer service.

**What you'll need to apply?**
- Experience of handling domestic claims upto and beyond £100,000.
- Construction, Estimating or Surveying Background.
- Full UK driving Licence
