One of the Group’s practices in the Northwest has been awarded Diamond Apex Status by Invisalign and that reflects the company's ongoing adherence to clinical excellence.  As a Turret Group staff member, you will learn the skills to support in a variety of orthodontic treatments, using the latest state-of-the-art technology and pioneering methods.

**The Post holder will;**

**Clinical Practice**
- Examine patients and treat common orthodontic problems
- Interpret X-rays, impressions, and additional diagnostic tests
- Discuss diagnoses with patients, and communicate to treatment coordinator on treatment options
- Carry out Clinchecks
- Offer clinical supervision to the wider clinical team
- Collaborate and share learning with other orthodontists
- Keep detailed medical records and orthodontic progress notes
- Use medical practice software to check details and update notes, treatment plans, documentation
- Follow orthodontic guidelines, regulations and standards
- Adhere to our policies and procedures
- Provide high-quality patient care and be diligent and detail-orientated
- Act as a positive role model within the practice for all staff and patients by upholding the Turret values; smiling, being solution focused and an exemplary team player.
- Ensure all required professional indemnity is in place and all necessary CPD in undertaken.
- Take care of your own Health & Safety and that of others who may be affected by your work.
- Maintain regular, consistent and professional attitude & attendance, punctuality & personal appearance.
- Follow the Cross Infection Control Policy and all practice policies and procedures at all times.
- Maintain detailed & accurate digital & manual clinical records.
- Follow all dental ethical guidelines including rules on confidentiality.

**Communication**
- Communicate with clarity and reassurance
- Communicate effectively with patients, clinicians, other staff members, professional bodies and external agencies.
- Demonstrate strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
- Work calmly and confidently in fast-paced and high-stress situations
- Build relationships with patients and have strong interpersonal skills
- Communicate with other healthcare groups and work in collaboration with them regarding the patients’ continuing care
- Liaise with dental laboratories regarding work/reports for patients.

- Participate in relevant promotional days.

**Education and Experience Required**:

- Hold a MOrth Qualification
- Have at least 3 years of orthodontist experience
- Have an active GDC registration and specialist Registration
- Provide proof of professional indemnity insurance
- Provide proof of CPD

**Education**:

- Bachelor's (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Dentistry: 1 year (preferred)
