Membership Administrator

The post holder is the first port of call for IGA members relating to issues concerning their membership. The role includes providing members with timely information such as membership, status of renewal in their overall CPD process, and UKCP membership.
Communicating with members through updating the members section of the IGA Website.
Key areas of responsibility and focus are:
- Administration of all Members events - to include notifications, credit control, provision of CPD certificates and admin support when needed
- Administer the preparation for the AGM - including liaising with board members, designers, reprographics etc. to create the annual report
- Manage and update IGA Member database details, on ongoing basis, this includes annual subscription renewals
- Manage, organise, and update the records for IGA members professional re-accreditation with the UKCP - including CPD and member peer review
- Developing and updating IGA members area of the website
**Essential Skills & Experience**:
- Strong organisational, planning and project management skills
- Ability prioritise workload and meet deadlines
- Ability to interpret and deliver actions with a sharp attention to detail, to produce and present accurate information
- Ability to manage multiple flows of information, a creative thinker who can come up with original, highly shareable ideas
- IT literate with some experience of using digital tools in a business environment
- Some experience of working in a marketing role/ work placement/ work experience or willingness to learn
- Experience of providing effective customer/staff support
- Experience of social media and content creation
- Experience With e-Newsletters (Mailchimp)
- Maintaining and updating websites (Wix, WordPress )
- Ability to build strong professional working relationships
- Ability manage workload independently
**Desirable Skills & Experience**
- Experience of databases and CRMs
- Basic knowledge of web design
- Strong social media presence
**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 14 per week
