OneCall24 is a permanent and temporary staffing recruitment agency, we specialise in providing temporary staff to a variety of different Healthcare establishments, including Care homes for the elderly and people who suffer from learning disabilities and/ or mental health, Nursing homes, NHS & private hospitals, as well as Children residential services and schools for children that have Learning disabilities and Challenging behaviour.

We are recruiting for Children's Support workers to work in Assisted living, Residential and School settings based in Hassocks, West Sussex. The children that we support will have a range of different health-needs including challenging behaviour, learning disabilities and trauma.

We are in a position to offer both full time and part time hours, which can be a sole source of income or which can be treated as an alternative position alongside your permanent place of work.

**Duties**:

- Provide support and assistance to individuals with physical or intellectual disabilities
- Assist with daily living activities such as personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication management
- Help individuals participate in social and recreational activities
- Document and report any changes in behavior or health status
- Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans
- Getting to know the children, their needs and interests
- Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans

Qualifications:

- Previous experience working with children
- Previous experience working with individuals with disabilities is preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate and patient demeanor
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Temporary contract

Pay: £12.82-£20.00 per hour
