Trade Team are currently looking for a Receptionist for our client based in the B43 area

Daily duties:

- Book in, amend and cancel patient appointment in-line with practice procedures ensuing optimum efficiency of the appointment system
- To provide an efficient and helpful service to the practice and patients by acting as a focal point of communication between patients, doctors and other medical staff.
- Answer all phone calls in a professional and courteous manner.
- Maintain confidentiality of all doctor, staff, and patient information.
- Liaise between medical departments with discretion and professionalism
- Adhere to policy and procedures during all activities.
- Communicate medical results to patients under clinical supervision.
- Ensure reception and waiting areas are kept neat and tidy.
- Check fridge daily for lab specimens ready for courier collection.
- Record samples received from patients at reception
- Management of Repeat Prescriptions
- Regularly check tasks and notification on SystmOne.
- Sort post and file letters and information on computer or hard copy as relevant.
- Deal with online enquiries received via website.
- Send referrals to relevant health services as required.
- Undergo online training with Clarity Teamnet.

**About You**:

- Meticulous attention to detail with the ability to multi-task.
- Strong organisational, administrative, and planning skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and react effectively to emergency situations.
- Ability to use discretion while working with sensitive information.
- Excellent documentation, communication, and IT skills.
- Passionate about healthcare excellence.

**Qualification**:

- GCSE (or equivalent) grade C or above in English and Maths is essential.
- DBS

**Hours**:

- Monday - Friday
- 30 hrs per week

**Salary**: £10.50 per hour

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
