Since its launch in 2001, Wainwright Contracting has established itself as one of the largest surfacing and civils contractors in the South West.

To help grow our Contracting business, we’ve invested in the best available plant, and in the training of our workforce. In consequence, our clients rely on us to deliver excellent service, using high-quality construction materials from our quarry and asphalt production facilities.

Working with modern plant you will be required to carry out jobs within our Local Authority and National Highways contracts alongside works for housebuilders and private customers. You will be provided with high quality PPE to enable you to carry out your role safely and effectively.

Working as part of a small team, it is essential that you are a good communicator, able to listen to instructions and carry them out effectively. You must be Health & Safety aware and fully understand the need to comply with H&S requirements.

You will have a can-do attitude and take pride in your work with a desire to get the job done to specification and on time. You will be contracted for 48 hours per week and this will include a variety of shifts including nights and weekend work and as such you will need to be flexible.
