**Are you an ambitious financial planning and analysis leader, with experience of management accounts and budgeting processes? Do you enjoy providing financial insights and projections and using data and analysis to aid decision making and planning? If so, this could be the role for you.**

**About the role**

Reporting to the Director of Strategic Financial Management, and deputising for them as required, you will be an active member of the Strategic Financial Management and Finance, Legal and Audit leadership teams, promoting the agreed strategy and delivering improvements.

Delivering inspirational and supportive leadership to your team, you will lead and manage the annual budgeting process including 3-year framework setting and quarterly financial forecasts. You will also manage monthly management accounts ensuring they are relevant, accurate and timely. Key to success will be the ability to identify and challenge variances to forecast, budget, and prior-year results, identifying opportunities for improvement.

You are comfortable providing clear, insightful reporting, linking financial metrics to agreed key performance metrics, owning the production of Finance KPIs including charitable expenditure ratio, efficiency ratio and liquidity forecast.

**About you**
- A relevant accountancy qualification and several years of experience leading a comparable finance team in a complex organisation
- Knowledge of accounting, financial and operational principles
- Experience developing financial reports and metrics with strong Excel, Powerpoint and Word skills
- Experience of supporting the development of strategy and owning the link to the financial plan with the ability to interact with various management levels and driving projects across an organisation
