Our client is a very well-known high end brand with impressive offices based in East Sussex and following a small restructure they are looking to add some further talent to their team in the form of an experienced Qualified or Qualified by Experience GroupAccountant on a permanent basis, Working closely with the Financial Controller, this position would suit an individual who is either looking to make their first move into industry or wishing to further their career within a market leader in their field.

Day to day duties as Group Accountant include:

- Take accountability of the full month end balance sheet journals and consolidation
- Ensure the business is as efficient as possible on processing & controls, whilst maintaining the compliance in line with standards
- Maintenance of fixed asset register and ensuring adherence to IFRS
- Production and review of month end journals for all entities within the Group, including accruals and provisions
- Leading and supervising individuals within the Financial Accounts team, supporting their development
- Annual and quarterly financial statements
- Building relationships with both internal and external auditors

We are looking for attributes including:

- ACA / ACCA / CIMA Qualification or QBE
- Knowledge of accountancy software packages
- A strong team but able to work independently and prioritise a heavy workload
