Job role: CNC Miller, Setter & Programmer

**Salary**: £32,000-£40,000 (£16-£20 per hour) dependent on experience

Location: Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire

Hours: 39 hours hours per week - open 7:30-18:00 (flexible hours)

**Job Type**: Full Time, Permanent

Holiday: 28 days including Bank Holidays

Overtime: Standard time midweek, time ¼ Saturdays

The Company:
Interaction Technical have partnered with an exciting precision engineering firm based in Miltonkeynes who are looking to add a skilled CNC Miller and Programmer to their expanding team. Our client has recently completed a merger with a well-established firm based in Mk and have just picked up new contracts with a variety of clients within the Motorsport, Formula 1, Automotive and Aerospace insudtries.

The Benefits:

- £32,000-£40,000 salary dependent on experience
- Overtime available at standard rate in the week, time ¼ Saturdays
- 28 days including bank holidays - increases with service (1 per year up to 32 days)

The Role:

- You will program, set and operate multi axis Milling machines
- Offline programming will be part of this position - using SprutCAM
- You will produce small, complex batches of components to quality standards and tight tolerances for the F1, Motorsport, Automotive and Aerospace industries
- You will be using Hurco and Haas 3 & 4 axis machinery
- You may also be tasked to work CNC lathes, although previous experience is not essential
- You will join a busy team and be extremely important to ensure all deadlines are met

The Requirements:

- Minimum 5 years experience as CNC Miller, Setter and Programmer (essential)
- Previous experience using Hurco and/or Haas machinery (essential)
- Previous experience using an offline programming package (essential)
- Previous experience using SprutCAM (advantageous)
- Apprentice Trained (advantageous)
- Previous experience using CNC lathes (advantageous but not required)
- High attention to detail and able to work to tight tolerances
- Self-motivated
