Garage Assistant

**GARAGE ASSISTANT WANTED**

We are looking for someone to join our team as a Garage Assistant, working in the HGV Commercial Repair Garage.

The role involves you assisting the Fitters who are responsible for the repair and maintenance of various types of HGV & Commercial Vehicles.

Examples of your duties include workshop housekeeping, greasing, washing, and checking engine fluid levels assisting the mechanics, collecting parts.

Monday to Friday 8am - 5pm. 2 Saturdays a month.
- Prior experience or knowledge of the motor vehicle trade is desirable.
- You must have an interest in mechanical systems/ HGV and have a willingness to learn.
- You must be able to follow instruction and complete tasks and meet timeframes set, both independently and as part of a team
- You must be hardworking, reliable, and flexible.

**Salary**: From £23,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Weekend availability
