Purchase Ledger Clerk

**Salary**: £23,000 to £24,000

Location: Driffield

A client of Edwards & Pearce is seeking a Purchase Ledger Clerk to manage all aspects of a high volume ledger. You will be working alongside the FC processing invoices, reconciliations and undertaking month end duties though this list is far from exhaustive. Immediate start is available if required.

THE ROLE
Full time and permanent
Working alongside the FC by taking ownership of a high volume purchase ledger.
Matching, batching, coding, reconciling invoices before undertaking payment runs.
Accurately process all related administration and solve all account queries.

THE CANDIDATE
Must have the ability to processes purchase ledger, reconciliations and month end. Possess experience working in a fast paced accounts department.
Able to remain calm, focused and accurate whilst striving towards deadlines.
Strong and confident communicator, able to prioritise workload.
Additional accounting skills could be utilised the assist the wider finance team.
