**The Role**:
**Your specific responsibilities will include**:

- Procure goods, materials, components, and services while aligning with defined cost, quality, and delivery targets.
- Ensure a consistent supply of essential goods and materials, promptly addressing and communicating any supply issues that may pose a risk or impact on business operations.
- Engage in contract negotiations, seeking to enhance prices and terms of business with suppliers, and explore opportunities to generate cost savings through effective negotiation and the utilization of procurement best practices.
- Conduct research and evaluations to identify areas of opportunity and reduce costs whenever feasible.
- Evaluate suppliers and conduct performance reviews to ensure contract compliance and oversee activities for performance improvement.
- Uphold a professional and standardized approach to all supplier relationships.
- Cultivate relationships with internal stakeholders to gain insights into future requirements, aligning with the business's objective to enhance its product offerings and meet customer needs.
- Contribute to the development of innovative and creative procurement processes and implement key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess and enhance supplier performance.
- Maintain comprehensive records and documentation within the department, enabling full traceability, addressing invoice queries, and providing assistance with MRP when necessary.
- Collaborate with and negotiate with stakeholders and suppliers regarding new projects, supplies, and initiatives, while advising on the potential impact of changes on purchasing and production activities.

**Key Skills & Requirements**:

- Possess a minimum of CIPS Level 4 certification or an equivalent qualification in Purchasing.
- Demonstrated prior experience with MRP/ERP systems.
- Proven expertise in supplier management and negotiation.
- Strong planning and organizational abilities.
- Exceptional negotiation, communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills.
- Capable of working independently with mínimal supervision, adept at prioritizing workloads, and a valuable team player.
