Account Manager required to join a long established and very well-respected firm of insurance brokers due to impressive growth. This company are a first-rate employer and have a strong track record in the development and training of its staff. They use allthe latest technology and have a dynamic team who really care about its clients. As such they are one of the UK’s fastest growing companies.

The currently require an ambitious Account Manager to look after an existing client base of commercial clients around the Midlands and South of England. In the role of Account Manager, you will have overall responsibility for developing and servicing yourclient bank and growing the account. You will be expected to deal with all insurance needs and requirements such as new business and renewal meetings including any mid-term adjustments. Other duties will include premium collection, credit control along withsome insurance claims analysis.

This client facing role will require strong communication skills and you should be able to build rapport with people at all levels. It’s important you can also interact effectively with other internal departments and display a positive friendly disposition.Previous knowledge of FCA rules and guidelines relating to commercial and private customers would also be required. Ideally you will be familiar with all the main commercial classes of insurance and be willing to improve and develop your level of technicalinsurance knowledge through formal and informal learning.
