**Pricing Analysts**

**£40,000 to £100,000 per annum**

**London / Remote**

KESS Insurance Recruitment are working with a market leading insurance organisation and a number of insuretechs with multiple locations around the country. The London Head Office requires the skills and talents of skilled Pricing Analysts to join their award-winningteam in offering innovation and technical advice within the group. Remote roles available

Currently my client is looking for an additional 2 to 3 people to join the team and work within a personal lines and commercial setting. My client will consider junior to senior analysts (including aspiring actuaries) and offers an excellent working environment,a flex approach to office hours can be considered and fully remote considered too (advised on individual basis).

**Key Role Outputs**
- Support pricing team in modelling tasks (home/motor products) via WTW software.
- Support pricing team in data manipulation.
- Take responsibility in testing and reconciliation tasks of pricing (home/motor).
- Monitor portfolio performance and via data analytics and translate results in actionable knowledge to achieve business objectives.
- Contribute in pricing teams’ objectives re customer acquisition, loss ratio, renewal retention and customer mix objectives.

**Role Dimensions**
- Primary product is Home / Motor. Additional products (Pet, Landlord, Business) to follow.
- B2C and MGA distribution models.

**Role Environment**
- London-based or remote with business travel as appropriate.
- Matrix environment with need for transparency and strong stakeholder engagement.
- Strong entrepreneurial culture to drive quick and informed decision-making to optimize market position.
- Emphasis on moving very quickly to exploit market conditions/profit opportunities.
- Operate within a robust governance framework.

**Skills/Attributes**
- Strong and adaptable team player.
- Highly numerate with strong data analysis skills.
- Eye for detail, completer/finisher.
- Effective communicator of ideas and ability to translate produced reports to recommendations.

**Qualifications/Experience**
- 2:1 degree in numerical discipline e.g. Maths, Physics, Econometrics.
- Trained in risk models such as GLMs via software preferably WTW Emblem.
- Trained in WTW RADAR software.
- Strong data manipulation skills using SQL/Python/R/WPS or similar.
- Experience of rating update processes, performance and impact monitoring.
- Good understanding of retail price optimization.
